If you are looking to spend your next motorcycle touring holiday on some of the very best roads in Europe, both over mountains and through valleys and gorges, then this motorbike tour will provide you with everything!

We start from Portsmouth with an overnight ferry to Caen, riding our bikes down to an overnight stop in the Limoges the next day. From there we ride to Bagneres de Luchon right in the middle of the French Pyrenees. This is riding paradise!  Top ride outs with endless "cols" include the Pic du Midi with its cable car and mountain top restaurant.  Spain and the "sunny side" of the Pyrenees is only minutes away and there are countless passes nearby.  Our ride outs command evocative names: the Col du Portillon, Col de Peyresourde, Col d'Aspin and Col de Tourmalet.  And we're not alone loving these moutainous roads.  Luchon is a regular host to the Tour de France (which means the tarmac is kept in good condition).  So if you want to ride these fantastic roads yourself, then here is your chance!

Our Hotel is in the centre of Luchon which has a wide selection of bars and restaurants that have been very popular with our MCi visitors to this area. There are many year round activities from gentle to the more extreme including mountain-biking, white water rafting and paragliding although you will get the most fun just riding your motorcycle around those endless curves.  The natural thermal spa with restorative waters and a fabulous natural sauna deep in the rocks is great for relaxing at the end of a long ride out.

There are so many Cols on our doorstep it's not possible to ride a motorbike over them all, but we have certainly found the best of them for you to ride on your motorcycle in the time we have available. Enjoy our meticulously planned routes, draw upon our experience knowing that we have been doing this for the past twenty-odd years and really can guarantee for you the ride of a lifetime!

We ride on after three days,via an overnight stop in Pamplona, to stay at a fabulously located hotel in the heart of the Picos de Europa national park. The Picos is one of the truly unspoiled areas of Spain still unaffected by large numbers of tourists. Traffic free roads through the mountains - yes please! The contrasts within these 300 square miles of spectacular natural beauty linking Cantabria and Asturias are amazing. Looking up you will see dramatic rocky mountain peaks rising up to over 8000 feet, small isolated mountain villages are tucked away in the higher mountain slopes almost completely isolated, deep gorges plunge down vertically into deep river valleys, sparkling lakes and magical forests make this an adventure playground just waiting to be explored. And your motorcycle is the perfect instrument upon which to play!

Our ride out routes are based upon our prodigious knowledge of the Picos from many successful tours in years gone by.

The tour ends with a mini cruise back to Plymouth, where we will say our farewells. The French Pyrenees and Northern Spain are waiting to be discovered - come along and enjoy the ride!
