I had told all my Friends that doing a RT 66 tour across the USA was a dream, the trip of a lifetime. Well, it was ! Hands down, I had the time of my life ! I can't say enough about our tour guides; Alister, Fionna, Trey, Ellen, Rod, & Julie were fantastic. The tour was very well planned, every day had an itinerary and a goal. But we could still improvise if we wished, and we did several times. We really got into the heartland of America, things you never see or experience zooming past on the interstate. Museums, old-time restaurants, gas stations, stores, etc. And the scenery: we didn't just see it, we 'experienced' it; from mountain peaks to desert plains, it was real, hands-on.

So if anyone asks "Can a British company do a decent tour of America?", I will answer "Absolutely ! Take their RT 66 tour, I guarantee you won't be disappointed !"

hello fionna,   brilliant ,absolutley brilliant.....shame everybody else missed out!!  biggest problem i had was trying to concentrate on the roads, and what roads -how did you arrange to have so many of them recently relaid - honestly , everyday was truelly motorcycle heaven .Highlights  Fortuna to Chester, the long way, missed the turning at Bucks Lake Rd so ended up doing that loop in reverse which added about another 20ml to the day ,not the worst road in the world to have to ride twice!!  Tioga pass and 395 roads - traffic free -395 i dont think i had anyone infront of me the whole way
moto gp turn 4 seats - great views  ,practice starts,Crutchlow playing to the crowds  .    the corkscrew    --  `kinell  ,   cannot describe  the drop !   La Honda and Skyline Blvd great end to the trip    Rooms were great ,especially Lake Tahoe and Yosemite   couldn`t wake up to those every morning ,route plans worked ok.  Why oh why  no-one else was up for this i`ll never know,  but ey oh ,will definetly recommend you to freinds and maybe do it again ,      many thanks                       

Just a line to say many thanks for what was our best tour with MCI to date. All the tours we have had with you have been great but this one was the icing on the cake. Ten out of ten for the the effort you both put into making it a success and 　making sure we all saw plenty of interesting sites / routes. Thoroughly enjoyed your company and before you reach for the sick bag I will sign out.

Just a quick note to thank you for organising our trip to Norway.
 
It all ran very smoothly, all the Hotels were excellent and the route gave us a great mix of all the superb scenery. We loved it and definitely plan to go back at some point and maybe head further North. Almost consistently dry and sunny weather helped as I think we had 1 fairly wet day in 13, so that was an unexpected bonus! Early June is clearly the time to go, still quiet in terms of tourists and chance of great weather.

The hotel in Bormio was absolutely fantastic - that spa! All the hotels were fantastic and such fantastic staff.  It was all superb - you did us proud!

An Italian and a Brit Enjoy The Pyrenees. Two years ago my brother in law Mick and myself without any plan, travel insurance, or accommodation loaded up our bikes with camping gear and clothes and took a Ferry from Portsmouth to Santander. Well long story short it was a bit of a disaster. No plan and too many decisions to make in a strange country were too much. Not deterred we planned to return but this time we would ride down through France spend 5 days in the Pyrenees and 2 days riding through Spain and get the Santander ferry back home. Experience told us planning was all, and we decided to try out MCI Tours. This turned out to be the best decision we could have made.

The central location of most of the hotels was great as once you park the bike up you don't want to get it out again to go into towns.  Secure parking was also appreciated. We were all very satisfied with the services you provided.  Well done!

Overall a memorable and great biking tour.  My thanks to Julie/Alastair for all the arrangements.  I was impressed with the weather you laid on for us!

I recently did a Self Guided tour to Germany & Scandinavia, but the highlight of the tour was definitely the Harz Mountains.  The roads and the scenery are fantastic and if you like riding bendy roads, like me, I cannot recommend this tour enough.  The B&B is in a perfect position for riding out from.  The village is really nice with plenty of restaurants to eat out at and shops for the ladies. There are plenty of historic places with castles and picturesque houses but for me it was the thrill of riding the bends!  All in all fantastic!

I did my presentation to the Probus Men's Club in December and they were so impressed with your tour of Romania and Hungary and how you were so informative. A lot of them are war veterons are were intrigued with our visit to Hitler's Parade ground,the concentration camp and the Palace we stayed in in Vienna. I just want to thank you again for making my adventure more interesting and so memorable. (They said that I was an excellent speaker because I embraced my trip and that I must have had wonderful and inspirational tour guides. Only one old guy did the nod but I talked for an hour and had everyone's attention.)
I am looking forwards to future tours with you.

Back to work now and the memories of the tour are slipping from my ageing mind, whilst I do still recall the wonderful time I had, with yourself (too short a time though) Alastair and all the group, I would like to say thanks for organising this (probably) once in a lifetime trip to these foreign lands, accommodation and food were excellent, the time and effort put into sourcing hotels etc has certainly been a bonus, knowing at the end of a sometimes long day we can rest up and enjoy our evening meal.

Just a short note Julie to thank you for all your help, excellent route suggestions, maps and directions. Overall - fantastic!

Both Jeff and me would like to thank you Tom, we thought you did a great job, you made us feel very comfortable, you was extremely approachable, if we had any worries or problems we felt confident that we could come to you and you would help any way possible. We had a great laugh as you said on and certainly of the road, it was a fantastic group and we feel privileged to have met such great people.

Many, many thanks for providing a great trip which we thoroughly enjoyed and are so glad we chose.We had a wonderful time, the scenery was fantastic, the roads brilliant, the weather good and all the people we met were so friendly and helpful.

The bike was well prepared, used little oil and never missed a beat.

Thanks to Julie for all the extra work getting around the Christchurch problems. Fionna, your selection of hotels and B&Bs was just right; we found the nine days from Russell to Te Anau a bit much but we're not sure how you could have found another two nighter during that period after the earthquake.

Alastair, the roads are brilliant; while any isolated bits have their match in Europe and America, the fact that you can go 80 - 90% of the day on great roads is just unique.  We also loved the isolation.

We very soon learnt that you can't afford to pass a cafe expecting another down the road - the next place could be 50 or 80 miles away.  In 330 miles from Queenstown to Greymouth there's only one place that could be called a town and miles of beautiful open country and mountains.

Overall this was an absolutely amazing trip. The accommodation was fantastic.  The roads brilliant.  I will not hesitate to recommend MCi Tours to my friends and colleagues.

This is the best holiday I've ever had.
