Whether you are planning a long weekend trip or want to extend your stay, the countryside of the Mosel Valley is an attractive choice! This is one of the most popular holiday regions in Germany with plenty of sights, lots of wonderful scenery, super motorcycle rideouts and great hospitality offered by Klaus, your hotel proprietor and motorbike riding host.

The Mosel can be reached in one day after an early start from Calais and it's closer still from the Hook of Holland or Rotterdam. Upon arrival enjoy a welcome drink and then look forward to your motorcycling rides out into the local countryside and beyond!

Explore fairytale castles (the ride out to Burg Eltz is a favourite), pretty villages (Cochem is a famed biking stop especially at weekends) and enjoy the scenic motorcycle ride both sides of the Mosel river with its backdrop of steep vineclad hills. Nearby is the Wispertal (“tal” means valley in German) and also the Gelbachtal which is twenty two kilometres of bends and curves awaiting your motorbiking pleasure! Trier, with its ancient Roman buildings and market square is another good day out too!

The Rhine Valley and well known resorts of Boppard, St Goarshausen and most famous of all, Rüdesheim, are all within easy reach. And of course we must not forget the Nurburgring - this selfguided touring holiday is an ideal choice if you would like to take a ride your motorbike around the circuit...

Our motorcycle friendly hotel is located in a small village which is an ideal base to explore the routes that we have prepared for you. All rooms are en suite and have hairdryers. There is a restaurant/dining room, comfortable lounge, historic vaulted cellar stacked with local wines, a sun terrace with views over the Mosel, small library and cold drinks out of the refrigerator (honesty box system applies). The hotel has rest days (Ruhetage) on Monday and Tuesday each week when the restaurant is not open and the reception desk is not fully manned. Your motorcycle can be parked in the garage (a former dance hall) which is directly linked to the hotel (!) There is a drying room and also a service and washing area for your bike. Garage and servicing facilities for your motorbike are available nearby if required.
