Lake Garda & the Austrian Tyrol

This is a two centre Lakes and Mountains tour combining three nights in a four star hotel in the Austrian Tyrol with four nights in a four star resort hotel on the eastern shore of Lake Garda.
Our hosts in Austria are themselves dedicated motorcyclists so rest assured that the rides out have been prepared with care and local knowledge. The Hotel has a dedicated bike park and underground garage area with full facilities. Jet wash the bike, use the airline for your tyres and if you want to interface with your machine there is even a bike ramp and service bay… The owners also have a range of motorcycles for hire if you fancy going out to play on something different! Upon your return, make full use of the sauna, plunge pool and steam room, while the sun terrace and bar area are all conducive to a relaxing day off the bike. Set in a valley with stunning views of the mountains, this Austrian experience will be a truly memorable part of your tour!
We move on through the Dolomites to Garda where our four star hotel is set in lush grounds in a tranquil setting with a backdrop of hills covered with olive groves, cypress trees and the famous Valpolicella vineyards. Lake Garda has many attractions – you can take a boat trip the length of the lake or take a lakeside ride through the many delightful villages that look out over its tranquil waters. Visit the castle at Malcesine, head off south to Sirmione and work your way back along the west coast of the lake past superb villas and for those who prefer the challenge of the mountains, there will be a planned ride out to the Dolomites - a vast mountainous terrain offering dramatic landscapes of lowland valleys, secluded villages and precipitous rock faces – and the odd twisty road…
Venice is but a short ride away (although you may prefer to come along on our organized coach trip) and it would be a shame not to spend a day in romantic Verona, the setting for Shakespeare’s Romeo & Juliet.
