If you are looking to spend your next motorcycle touring holiday on some of the very best roads in Europe, both over mountains and through valleys and gorges, then this motorbike tour will provide you with everything!

To enjoy motorcycling in the Pyrenees you have to be in them, and that’s exactly where we base ourselves so that we can access the cols in record time - the nearest one being the Col Du Tourmalet. Possibly one of the most famous climbs in all of France, the Col Du Tourmalet is the highest of the French Pyrenean road cols and features frequently on the route of the Tour de France. For the motorcycle rider, the road over the Col du Tourmalet presents two very distinct aspects, the Eastern approach with its early wooded sections and its spectacular open views and the Western side which is much wilder, with deep rocky ravines and reputedly the fastest descent in the whole of France.

There are so many cols on our doorstep it's not possible to ride a motorbike over them all, but we think that we have found the best of them for you to ride in the time we have available. One thing for certain is whichever col you are motorcycling on, you’re sure to hear the clamour of cowbells ringing in your ears!

Leaving the French Pyrenees we travel by motorcycle to our overnight hotel in Spain, but not before riding through the stunning Navarra region. We think Navarra host most probably the best motorcycling roads in the Pyrenees and the crossing over the Sierra de Abodi ridge offers fantastic panorama views of the whole of the Navarra mountain region. We arrive at our main location in Llanes and after checking into our hotel, there will be plenty of time to unpack, unwind and explore this excellent fishing village with its small winding streets, waterside cafes and restaurants.

The mountains and gorges of the Asturias Region are the French Alps in miniature, stunning, awesome and all ours... Ride outs take in the Asturias Picos de Europa National Park, so expect staggering views and a low altitude experience that's about as close to flying as you can get on a motorbike!

The French Pyrenees and Northern Spain are waiting to be discovered - you will now have probably the best motorcycle touring experience of your life. Both locations have exceptional landscapes and enthralling motorcycling roads...
