An absolutely ideal location for riding some fantastic roads in the French Alps where there are some familiar names, Les Deux-Alpes and Alpe-d'Huez probably being the best known! Innumerable cols (passes) to ride! To add to you holiday enjoyment our British family owned accommodation is a beautiful chalet that caters very well for skiers n the winter time.
Your ten day holiday starts with your Dover/Calais crossing into France (or upgrade to Eurotunnel) and head through the Champagne region for your overnight stop. Onwards then through France as you head towards the mountains and a nice twisty arrive to your base for 7 nights, Please note that arrival day is Sunday (other arrival days on request). And this is where your fun starts. Your return journey has one overnight stop in France en route.
In the summer your village transforms from a ski resort back to its centuries old farming roots with locals going about their business, smell the beautiful meadow flowers and fresh mountain air and listen to the gentle, almost meditational clang of cow bells on the pastures above, whilst the La Fare waterfall, now set free of its frozen state, tumbles down the rock face opposite. All warmed by more than 300 days of sunshine a year; perfect for a French Alps holiday.

A truly authentic French Alps summer holiday awaits. Our alpine mountain resort in the Oisans is a small friendly traditional community, blessed with outstanding modern facilities and infrastructure. Stroll around small, safe streets and seek out the three or four charming bars for a sunset aperitif, great village restaurants and a fantastic state-of-the-art swimming pool and gym.
Your accommodation for the week is a well equipped ski chalet located in a small village and offering stunning view of the surrounding mountains. Our partners have been welcoming skiers since the chalet was custom built in 2000 and are now looking forward to welcoming motorcycling guests. Thanks to the combination of its picture-postcard location on the south facing, sundrenched slopes of the village and its smart and stylish interior, it has become a flagship chalet and probably the best accommodation available in the village. Your chalet hosts will be pleased to pamper you with a feast at breakfast before you venture out for a fun-packed day. Then relax in the evening on the terrace with a beer or aperitif soaking up the magnificent views of the surrounding mountains before an enjoyable dinner is served at 8pm on 6 days a week. On the other two evenings make the most of a longer day out or dine locally at your discretion.
Start the day with a fresh chef-made breakfast – warm pastries, cereals, yogurts and daily hot specials set you up for the day
Enjoy your day out motorcycling one of the many world famous routes such as the col de la croix de fer, walking by mountain streams, rafting in the Veneon, playing at Adventure Parc or tackling one of the via-ferrata and then return to your chalet oasis to enjoy a peaceful moment on the terrace watching the La Fare waterfall tumbling down the rock-face on the other side of the valley.
Relax back in the chalet with homemade afternoon tea, enjoying the sunshine and views from the terrace or indeed in our state of the art spa area with bespoke sauna and hot tub.
If you still have the energy, visit the village swimming and gym complex or the indoor championship ice skating rink and bowling centre, just 200m from Chalet .
Early evening – enjoy a traditional French aperitif with a super view followed by a delicious 3-6 course haute cuisine dinner including wine.
